Forex Killer Update

I recently reviewed Forex Killer and wanted to give you an update. You can read the review here.

I ran Forex Killer for another day and came up with these results.

Drum Roll, Please ….

I went from a profit of $83.16 to a loss of $197.35 in one day. Ouch. Keep in mind that I was only using 0.1 mini lots, which means that each pip was only worth 1 USD. You can see the results here.

Believe me it was tough watching the numbers go backwards, but I wanted to give you an accurate assessment of what you might expect. But since these were all done on a demo account, it didn’t actually cost me any real money, but it was still hard to watch. If you were trading with real money, you can be sure you would be watching every tic.

So is Forex Killer a good thing or a bad thing?

Now this may sound strange, but I don’t want you to treat this review as gospel for Forex Killer. This test lasted only 4 days. The forex market is highly volatile and you will have good days and bad days. It’s the nature of the beast. Remember that I earned $83.16 the first 3 days, but it only took one day to wipe it out and then some.

At this point, I’m not ready to endorse or condemn it completely. It will take more than 4 days to make that decision. And as always, the more you use it, the more familiar you get with it. Once you become familiar with it, you will have a better feel for what works and what doesn’t.

It probably would have been a good idea to lower my stop-loss and take-profit and settle more for smaller wins and losses. It depends on how much of a gambler you are and how much you can afford to lose. Never trade with the rent money or car payment. That is inviting disaster.
